Founded in 1996 by former Yale University students James Prosek and Joseph Furia, the Journal is now edited and published biannually by a staff of Yale undergraduates. Since its inaugural issue, the Journal has found subscribers and contriubutors from all corners of the globe. The staff is currently preparing the seventeenth issue Volume IX Number 1.
